Abandoned Houses (remember, home is where the heart is)

Racing down the road to find a campsite before the light runs out You can't keep me from laying my head down and stare up at the stars I drive this figure 8 without my shade to feel the sunburn on my face Maybe I like the way it hurts when I smile

And it's ok to take this space

Rearrange

Redecorate

Self-maintenance is required

I seek out cityscapes wander the streets until I need to escape the disconnection and get back rooted in the woods

Where I find abandoned houses being swallowed by the forest and it puts me right at ease to know damage can be undone

And i'll grow stronger

Well-weathered

And meet you out in Providence

To share what I've learned

Here's what I've learned:

Don't grow up

Keep cutting back

Keep putting on new leaves

Don't ripen yet

Don't slip from the vine

I'm a spiral

You're a vessel

I live life in circles

You collect it to burn

Let's watch that smoke curl up

In a pattern that connects us

And draws luna moths back from the moon and into a funeral pire
